We’re posting 3 of the 7 screens here for this contest. We will choose one designer based on the entries for the 3 screens and complete the whole 7 screens.
Screen 1: Choose A Week
Description: Choose a instructional week from Week 1 to Week 32. Currently the screen is straightforward, but we’d like to see a more intuitive presentation. But the design should enable the following function.
-Display a default top banner, cute and lively. It would be great to involve grade-specific colors and the submarine. (For example, yellow for G1.) The banner works as a profile image for the class. (Users can replace the image in the setting page.)
-Display a default week, for example Week 1, as the primary content
-Display all weeks, not necessarily all at once. It can use scrolling/sliding or other features.
-Choose a week
Screen 2: Edit Groups
Description: Edit group settings and group members.
-Display students’ avatars in both “student” (on the left) and “group” (on the right) columns
-Drag student avatars in the left column to join the groups in the right column
-Find students and groups by sliding up and down, or by pressing
-Drag student avatars in the right column up and down to join another group; drag back to the left column to leave the current group
-Add a group
-Expand “Rename” and “Delete” groups menu by clicking on the setting icon on the right top of each group. (No need to design menu)
-Go back button
Screen 3: Grade
Description: Click on 1, 2, or 3 stars to appraise students’ performance.
-Display students’ avatars
-Click on 1, 2, or 3 stars to record students’ grade
-Expand “Leave a comment” dialogue by clicking on the icon on the right to the stars. (no need to design the dialogue window)
