Spa & Esthetics
Mobile booking for services such as hair cuts, massages, dental services, doctor's appointments. Pretty well any bookable service, mainly targeting professional services. Our main demographic with the app is female, ages 22 - 40. Users will configure multiple booking parameters before doing a search for potential appointment times. Users will then need to register or log in, if they have not already, to confirm the booking. We will also offer pages for the user to manage their previously booked appointments, wait lists they have joined, and offers available for different services.
We are looking for a design with a light touch, subtle textures, an overall fun and laid back feel.
1) Home Page The app loads up to the home page, which acts as a central booking page for the customer to use. This booking page will require 3 parameters, with the additional of one optional, before searching for possible professionals to book with. We feel that the best way to portray these four parameters is in a checklist. The goal is for visual indication that the user has fulfilled any of the given parameters required. Upon completing all of the parameter requirements the user would hit a "Search for Professionals" button that would lead them to a page of professional results. 2) Professional Results This page is a filterable list of professional results with the following information for each professional result shown: NameCompany NameAddressButton to "Add to Favourites"List of times for the current selected date Overall filter controls on this page will include: Controls to set the current dateButton to switch to a "Map View" of the current resultsControls to sort by price or distance 3) Event Details The event details page will display to the user all necessary information about the event: Services to be renderedDate and timeOrigin of the event; this can be "From an IVR call in", "From your wait list", "From your professional"Status of the event; this can be "Not Confirmed", "Confirmed", "Cancelled" For additional convenience to the user this page will also provide brief profile information of the professional they're booked in with. This information is just a brief version of the Professional Profile which is outlined next. 4) Professional Profile The professional profile page provides details about a given professional to the user. This information includes: NameCompanyAddressRatingBrief description from the professional.PhoneEmailWebsiteFacebook LinkTwitter LinkFacebook LikesNumber of Tweets From this page we'll provide a call button that directly exits the app to the calling feature on their phone to call the professional. We would also like a button to message and a button to From here, there are subpages that show additional functionality. These are: Map, Discounts, and Book. We understand that this is a lot of information to cram in, but this page should allow the user to scroll to see additional information. We're only hoping to see the first page of the profile section in this contest. 5) Login Page For the login we'll need the standard email, password, and remember me elements. We would also like to provide the alternative login methods Facebook and Google. For users that do not have an account, we need a way for them to switch to the "Register" page from here. Feel free to ask questions if you need clarification!
What to avoid
Avoid default phone elements. This app will be developed in PhoneGap so we do not want to be tied to any device specific stuff. It should be unique to our brand. Please design for an average screen size. Samsung Galaxy S3 is too large, so please stick to SG1, SG2, iPhone 4. iPhone 5 is fine as long as the design will scale down well.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at $599.
