Community & Non-Profit
We are a public archive that secures all records from the City of Copenhagen (Capitol in Denmark). Among our activities we have a huge crowd sourcing project. It is for this project we need a design.
What's your vision?
Mug design for Voluenteers at politietsregisterblade.dk The logo is primarily to be used as a print on a coffee mug (80mm x 80mm). The mug is a gift for volunteers that are transcribing millions of family history records for the City Archive of Copenhagen. The design should illustrate the huge work these dedicated people do every day, so each and every man can free of charge search for their relatives. The records were originally created by the Police in Copenhagen from 1892-1924. It should contain following text (translation/explanation in parentheses - just to add understanding): • politietsregisterblade.dk (name of the project website, could be all in capital letters) • Frivillig (Means volunteer in Danish) It could contain one or more of the following • Top-50 indtaster (Top-50 transcriber/typer) • 2010-2012 Use the photos freely. Photo 1 is your most used photo in the project. It should also contain the logo ’Københavns Stadsarkiv’ possible in a bottom corner as a signature/project owner. You are most welcome to browse around on the website: www.politietsregisterblade.dk and pick up images and inspiration. The design could also include part of the images of the record sheets e.g see new scanned versions her: http://www.politietsregisterblade.dk/index.php?option=com_sfup&controller=politregisterblade&task=viewRegisterbladbyroll&id=846 Please let us know if you need images in higher resolution or any other thing. You can browse one forward in the sheets using ‘1 frem’. From the City Archive we which all designer good luck and are very excited to see what you come up with. Jeppe Project manager
