tanyaq3 got their new menu by running a design contest:
To-Go Menu for Unique New Restaurant & Bar to Start Ongoing Graphic Design Project!
Check out tanyaq3's Menu contest…
We are a bar and restaurant located in Albuquerque, NM that specializes in elevated bar fare made from scratch.
What's your vision?
We would like a to-go menu designed that incorporates our already designed logo, which is attached as the first picture. We are located in a historic building built in 1909, and the decor and aesthetic celebrate that history with a modern, hand-crafted feel. We would like the menu to be able to be printed out on an 8 1/2 x 11" standard card stock, front and back. No folding. While we want to highlight the food, we also want to highlight our bar program and happy hour. Our Menu has the following Sections and Items. We would like a small description area for each item. You can use place holder text for now for the descriptions. Most all of our menu items can be modified to be vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten free. We need this noted under the item, if there are these modifications available. Right now we use V* for vegetarian, VG* for vegan, and GF* for gluten free. Also, we have the Adobe creative suite and would like to have the modifiable file in either Illustrator or InDesign so that we can update it as our menu changes. In addition, we want to highlight our happy hour that includes $3 beer specials, $4 wine specials, and $5 cocktail specials. Happy hour is Monday through Saturday from 3-6pm and all day on Sunday. Finally, we do have live music, trivia, board games, 17 TV's with the NFL Sunday ticket and karaoke. You can also visit our website at www.brixens.com to look at what we have going so far. All of our social media handles are BrixensAbq, however Facebook is where we have posted the most thus far. ... We know this is a lot to incorporate, so good luck and thank you so much in advance!
We are a new business, only open 9 weeks, and have had an incredibly positive reception thus far, and are now ready to start advertising more. Our restaurant has a lot of very unique details that set us apart, including our culinary comfort food, expansive beer and wine programs, craft cocktails, and an interior that was custom built with handcrafted tables which have ice coolers built into the middle of every table. We are located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, and the population influx during the day swells by over 100,000 people within a 3 mile radius. This gives us a captive audience during lunch of the downtown business clientele that eat within the vicinity daily. Also, there has been a recent gentrification of downtown condos and lofts that are bringing in young business professionals to live downtown. We would like to use this menu to hand out to entice people who have not been in to come check us out, and also to give to people who have come in to order take out for their office lunches, etc. This will most likely be the first component to an ongoing graphic design project. We have included some pictures to help you get a feel for the environment, and have a lot of pictures of the food and atmosphere if needed.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Menu starts at $199.
