Food & Drink
People's Bao (http://www.peoplesbao.com) sells a steamed Asian buns through catering and a new food truck that will be launched in the next 1 month in Washington DC area. We've catered the White House Correspondence Diner and events at the Kennedy Center. Steamed buns are essentially Asian hamburgers. The buns are steamed instead of baked, giving it a white fluffy texture, the primary protein is pork instead of beef, and there is a salad topping in the bun much like lettuce and tomato in a burger. Our audience are people of all ages with some disposable income. The same people that go to Chipotle and Panera Bread will come to us. There are several bao restaurant around the country that can be used as reference: http://www.hailthechairman.com/#modern-baos http://www.baohausnyc.com http://www.takeabao.com/ http://www.wowbao.com
What's your vision?
A Minimalist Impactful Menu Board on the Food Truck The truck is already designed. So the menu has to go well with the overall truck design. We prefer a minimalist approach. Many elements of the menu is already designed. It needs a final finish touch to bring it all together. • Total menu board size is 27” wide x 40” tall, please leave 2” on all 4 sides as padding. • The existing design has clip art that is not high resolution and thus need to be converted into Adobe Illustrator or EPS files • All clipart have clear background so the canvas color just comes through • All clipart are simple black and white, the soda cup clipart needs a little more work • All clip art should have the same dimension. • Water bottle icon is gray. It needs to be pure black. • Soda cup icon has a water mark it the background. The water mark needs to be removed. • The menu is largely designed. It just needs the improved clipart and final finishing touch to look professional. The final menu should be either in Adobe Illustrator or Word with high resolution PNG images for the clip art. The menu will be printed on 27” x 40” movie poster paper.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
