Zoe was excellent to work with. She thoroughly read my brief and understood exactly what I was looking for. She was also very communicative throughout the entire process.

We are a SaaS product that connects marketer's digital ad/marketing data to revenue data in order to do revenue attribution across the entire buyer journey. We sell to B2B marketers at mid-level to enterprise level companies. We target smart B2B marketers who are data driven and mid-career. We also target CMOs and senior business leaders in +500 person companies.
We are launching a business magazine that is a mix between Harvard Business Review and Fast Company. The magazine is for senior level marketing leaders such as the CMO. The content will be based on interviews with CMOs and will feature business article types such as focused interviews with CMOs on specific marketing topics and disciplines, articles on marketing strategy, and reports on marketing trends.
The brand should express modern and intelligent insights. It should look reputable from a business professional perspective. When someone sees the magazine they should feel as though it belongs to a sophisticated reader. It should also appear current and relevant to today’s needs around getting useable information and approaching the use of technology to achieve goals. A person should pick up the magazine because the cover communicates that they will learn something relevant.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are launching a business magazine that is a mix between Harvard Business Review and Fast Company. We will be printing these magazines and sending them to our target accounts. The content will be based on interviews with CMOs and we are shipping them to marketers we're trying to engage with.
We'd like a front cover designed (there will be 3 issues for now), and an InDesign layout template. It will be printed on 8 x 10 paper.
The magazine will be 40 pages in total and include a table of contents and around 3 types of articles for each issue.
The design elements will be graphic design, typography, and illustration based, not photography based. Here are some examples of what I mean by that:

Is there anything else you would like to communicate to the designers?
We'd like strong use of colors and layout that is academic/scientific in style but also modern. Below are links to designs we like, starting with one we really like:
This one follows approach number 1 as described in the previous section. We would like a cost estimate for the addition of three illustrations for our planned run of three issues. See link below https://www.behance.net/gallery/319…ole-24-Ore
