Architectural Lighting Manufacturer

What's your vision?

We will soon be launching our new catalogue aimed at architects and lighting designers. We are after minimalist but iconic style covers, i have added some images of our 2017 catalogue cover and also some other covers we like just to help illustrate the style we are aiming for, however we are open to ideas and suggestions along this style of brief. The catalogue pages are A4 and approx 135 - 140 pages with a 350 gsm Cover + 190/200 gsm internal pages and all in a matte finish. The main writing on the cover we would like is the logo which is attached and title (The Linear Edition Vol 1) I will try and guide the competition and feedback the best I can, thank you for taking part.

Minimal typographic cover

Conceptual, simple typographic cover for architecture and lighting furnishers. The design is minimalistic, based on the clever play around the same symbol used. for '1' and the letter 'l'. Asymetric and modern approach give it a strong, bold look.

I took part in a contest and worked a lot on the design to meet the customers needs. I had to make some adjustments to the design but it worked out. Since this is volume one and they liked my design, I got hired to create another cover for the second issue, which you can also find in my portfolio. I really enjoyed working together with Fleetwood Urban.
