Hands-On Professional Development That Works!
We provide the highest quality hands-on professional development to teachers and school districts around the country. Our K-8 workshops focus on making Literacy programs such as the Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop and Guided Reading work for all learners. We tailor workshops into strategic hands-on sessions by combining pedagogy and strategies with our nearly two decades working with English Language learners (ELLs), students receiving Special Education services, ensuring everyone is taught literacy at their true instructional level. The key is being developmentally appropriate – and FUN! For grades 6-12, additional workshop offerings include Supporting Content Area Literacy, Writing Workshop, Strategies to Support State Standards, Guided Reading/Small Group Instruction, Phonics, Grammar, and Word Study. For the past 15 years we have fostered ongoing relationships with public schools, private schools, Yeshivas, and parochial schools nationwide. Teachers rave about our presenters - and keep them coming back year-after-year to train new and returning staff in the most current tools and effective strategies and methods to support all learners.
