Speech, language, voice and swallowing therapy across the lifespan
Medical and Education, I treat babies, toddlers, school-aged kids, children and adults with disabilities and neurological disorders. I work in hospitals and nursing homes as well as people's homes. I help people get a message from within themselves out into the world. I help people connect to others. My target audience is anyone who needs help communicating with their speech, their language, or their voice. I also help people eat and swallow and mange those in cognitive decline (dementia) with executive functioning and being able to manage their daily lives as independently as possible. I help people connect to others as well as themselves. I like the idea of connecting geometric shapes.... Sorry to be so broad and abstract.
Other color requirements
I like the idea of bold colors that are both warm and inviting but also enthusiastic. I like the look of 3+ colors.
The common logo I am seeing is a person with a chat box and sound frequency and that logo is too popular to copy. It is our national organization's logo and I cannot reduplicate that logo. Honestly, I am not looking for something that specific or complex. My logo doesn't even need to suggest talking or speech or people. If there is a creative way of doing that then maybe I'd like it but my vision is more broad. My work is to help people get a message from within themselves out into the world. I work in hospitals with adults and in schools with children but my greater purpose is simply helping people connect to others. I need to appeal to parents of young children, educators, and adults seeking therapy for medical conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and dementia. I would like my website and logo to be more bold than subtle but more classy than gaudy. It needs to be easily and clearly read by those who may have visual deficits. I like the look of jewel tone colors and more than just 2 colors. I also like the blue dominance I've been seeing a lot of but I don't want it to be all a blue scheme. I sincerely appreciate all of your submissions and your visual creativity - thank you!!!
I am open to colors but my site needs to be easy to read and digest for those who may have cognitive, visual, or auditory impairments. I am looking for something clear, simple, and to the point that also looks classy.
