4 pages: Home page, Products, Journal, Contact us
Home page text: what we do, why we started, benefits and features of our products. Home page images: logo, images to reflect the ethos of the company ie: low meat, high welfare meat, British ingredients, British farmers, environmental benefits, health benefits, all natural ingredients. Home page goals: To have beautiful images, for the page to be cut into sections covering the text headers above, to set the scene for the brand and ensure the user has an understanding of why we are different from other premium sausages.
Products text: how the product is composed, ie illustration of the sausage proportions, packaging and information about what we use, where to buy our products, buttons to ‘add to basket’. Product images: illustration of a sausage to show how ours is composed, image of each product, information about where to buy the products, space for stockist logos. Products goal: Focus on products and ingredients, for the user to understand our range of products, what is in them, our company ethos and finally I would like the functionality to purchase sausages in the future but would not like this element switched on until later.
Journal text: This page should have a different feel; I’m a fan of Spoon Cereals & Letter list approach. Maybe live feeds to Twitter, Facebook & Instagram but not if it makes the page look messy. Journal images: An image for each blog/recipe/idea. Journal goal: is to build upon the brand and create a personality and a series of interesting articles, recipes and ideas.
Contact us text: Contact us form for general enquiries, Email address and telephone number for retailers. Contact us images: a stock image in line and theme with home page. Contact us goal: just to make it easy for people to reach us.
