How charleslharmer started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
Silver Shark Adventures
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Eco-Tour company taking people down to Baja California for tours focusing on marine wildlife. We drive through the desert, snorkel with whale sharks, sea lions and whale watch. Swimming w/whale sharks during the summer and fall months. "Up close" encounters w/ whales in the winter and spring. Both adventures offer snorkeling w/ sea lions, as well as dolphin encounters. My target audience is anyone looking for a non-traditional vacation, and more of a unique adventure. Smaller size groups allow for more personal attention and less impact/stress on the wildlife. I have had guests as young as 12 and old as 60.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.

I would like a whale shark as the main focus of this design. I'd also like to see concepts of a dolphin, sea lion or whale placed in the logo together w/ the whale shark. Note: I've attached some images / drawings of whales and a whale shark. These are all animals we generally encounter on my trips. Marine birds and desert cactus are also viewed throughout the trip. Favoring a "round shaped" design / logo.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
- clean simple design, I think my photos and video are real selling points to my consumer so having them be featured a crawling banner is a good idea.
-I need a calendar that updates as trip dates are booked.
-I need a "request to book" section that will allow customers to write a little bit about themselves, the duration of their trip, the number in their party, etc. and Request to Book or "Request an Adventure"
-Either a FAQ section or a "send me a message" section.
-Links to my instagram page. currently @charleslharmer
Jimdo templates to explore
Homepage: A crawling video banner at the top of page would be top preference. My videos are my best way to target my audience. Perhaps, the logo in the top left corner w/ menu and tabs to the right above the banner. Menu options: 1) Home 2) Adventures 3) Gallery 4) About 5) Contact
