About us

We are a sailing YouTube channel that provides weekly self-sufficient sailing and adventure videos. There's a strong focus on fishing, wildlife, liveaboard education and history of the places we visit. Target audience is mainly male and some couples. The average age of our viewers is 50 years and they are mainly from the US, Australia, Canada, NZ, Scandinavia and UK. We'd like the logo to feel "free" but also have a nautical flair. We were thinking a silhoutte of a shearwater potentially with a compass rose. Alternatively, if you think using the shape of a sail with a shearwater would be more suitable that's fine. For us, the shearwater is critical as it embodies our "free range" living. We will be using the logo on shirt breasts and backs, in social media and as a watermark on our YouTube videos. See brief below for more information and sample images.

C monogram logo for visual effects company

I love creating unique monograms so used this approach for Colony Visual Effects. As company is working on visual effects and making impossible stuff, possible, I decided to play with C, made with Escher-esque approach creating bending letter with impossible geometry theme. It works really great with subtle gradient giving this effect another dimension, but it works really great in single color as well. I took extra effort and created couple mockups showing this design used in various situations and in the end payed of.
