We want the logo to associate with FREEDOM and JOY of sailing.

Now, for the final round a small updated brief; keep it blue'ish, but if you wish, play around with red/orange and green, if you feel it will bring out the little extra.
Keep in mind the logo will be used mainly online, and should fit clearly into places like facebook, twitter, own web page and as a favicon. So a logo that fits into a square, and are easily recognized and unique enough for people to remember the logo. Still - Keep it simple and clean.
