adamwiggins got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Word processor for scientists needs a compelling logo

Livebook is a software product for journalists and scientists. It's a combination between a word processor and the Python programming language and can produce plots and figures of analyzed data.
I'd like the logo to combine three themes: (1) Flowers, especially the iris flower and radial symmetry. One of our example notebooks is data analysis on iris species. (2) Data visualizations. Radial charts (see examples) could be a good source of inspiration since these resemble flowers in some way. (3) Ink on paper. Since our product is a writing tool, evoking a little bit of the feeling of a scribe setting their quill to vellum. Also included here: a screenshot of our product. We currently have a black-on-white plus dusty pastels color theme, but don't feel constrained to that.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
