About us
We need a design for our wine labels. Our vineyard is named Bois Joli ("pretty woods"). We are a small operation (9 acres) and produce small quantities of very high-end Riesling, pinot noir and chardonnay on a beautiful hillside near the city of Amity (“friendship”) in NW Oregon. Our target audience is sophisticated wine drinkers of all ages. We desire a simple, elegant logo that conveys a message of elegant, "boutique" wines produced from grapes that are farmed according to strict standards of environmental sustainability. The vineyard is surrounded by a beautiful oak/fir forest and we have a small flock of “babydoll” sheep grazing in the vineyard, so a “tree”, “forest” and/or “sheep” theme might be appropriate but these are not essential. Elegance and simplicity, not cuteness or splashiness or complex imagery, are most important.
