Kim was great to work with--efficient, responsive to my needs, and really flexible. I had over 220 designs submitted, and hers always stood out. She has a really good eye for design and a professional touch. I highly recommend her.
How eyo started their logo design journey
We are launching a limited edition clothing company connecting artists and consumers. We need a logo that is edgy, clean, and something that screams exclusive.
Not only will our winner get paid but we will make you the first featured artist when our site launches in January.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Weneed a logo using a shark fin with the company name – Finroo. We alsoneed versions of the logo with two different taglines: Sink or Swim;Swim Against the Tide. Lastly, we need the fin graphic portion of thelogo to be a stand-alone image.
Fin roo – name comes from final round, for artists this conveys that the work is at its best, the peak
Sink or swim (tagline) - the best art work makes it to the final round, the site is crowd sourcing so the best designs swim to the top, theothers sink
We run limited editions – so being hip, being cool, being in the know to get it before it runs out, reiterates sink or swim
Brand positioning – swim against the tide ... Sharks swim against thetide, as do artists who challenge convention, as do our target audiencewho want to be unique and expressive ... Be the only one in the barwearing their shirt ... Therefore limited edition
We want to use a shark fin – sharks are stealth, so underground and hip again
Exclusive but very clean, will be on an all white background website that will have a ton of art
- shark fin
- tag line : sink or swim (one)
- tag line: swim against the tide (other line)
- web 2.0
- we will print the fin by itself on our shirts, so its needs to be good enough to stand alone
- the logo must have the company name, the shark fin, and the tagline in it
