I am a college student, and I want to change the world :-)
I am designing a website along with facebook fan page where users post pictures of egregious and wasteful use of packaging material to try to convince/shame companies into cleaning up their act.
(example attached)
Mostly young people. Tech savvy. They are concerned about the environment and have a bit of an advocacy streak in them. They are willing to tell companies that they don't approve of the way they are doing business.
Since I hope to actually work with companies, I need a "business like" logo. I want to be taken seriously, and not be a "hippie" "green-nut" etc.
So, need a very clean cut logo, mostly just the words I think. I generally dislike logos that feature large "pictures" (ie Starbucks)
I don't think globes, planets, or leafs (that are typical of "green" logos" would probably fit in this.) Remember, the logo is conveying there is TOO MUCH of something, not that the environment is a beautiful thing.
If the logo could somehow convey the name and that it is "too much" +packaging+ as opposed to too much of something else, all while looking very clean cut and refined, that would be the winner!
As a college student, I will have plenty of time to comment and provide feedback on submissions. I promise to log in every day.
New to see a few versions so I would know how it would look in various contexts.:
+ With and without the .org
+ With and without a tag line: “campaign for less packaging"
Thanks for your help!!!!!!
