MJ won our competition because the design was the best from the earliest stage. MJ stayed ahead, made the requested changes, and simply produced the best design. Delivery was in the requested format. We were very pleased with the results.

How sjw3668 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Kelly Law Firm
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Law firm with six partners serves an international border town one hour NE of Detroit. Target audiences: local people who need legal services and sometimes think they need a big-city firm to handle their matter (they usually don't); also, attorneys from outside the area who seek a local attorney for a case or who want to make a referral. See website at porthuronlaw.com for practice areas. The firm is simplifying its name with the addition of new partners. Logo will be used for new website, biz cards, etc. New website will feature black-and-white photography designed to show members of the firm as professional yet approachable. Not stuffy.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Logo's placement is most likely to be in the upper left of wherever it's used. Aim for classy, graphic, not fussy. Avoid cliches such as scales of justice. One more thing: Avoid colors that evoke the team color of either the University of Michigan (maize and blue) or Michigan State (green and white).
