How More Complete Fx started their logo design journey
More Complete FX
I have a small visual FX company in California. Please take a look at my site for an idea of my look and feel. My current logo was something I just made real quick and isn't really suited for print anyway.
Please watch at least one of the reels so you can see what kind of work we do.
I actually design logos professionally for TV and Film... but those are animated and I find I am no good at designing logos that sit still.... and I have found it really hard to take a step back and design a logo for my own company.... no fresh ideas.
If the look and feel of my site gives you any ideas... then great.... but I am open to any and all ideas.
Play with the idea of being "more complete". I would love to see this come across in the logo.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Target audience in people in the entertainment and advertising fields. These are my major clients... and it's hard to say you do design when your own logo is lame... as mine is now. Mainly male target audience.
I don't like pink or feminine colors. Most of my clients will be male.
I like logos that have text and maybe one graphic element or idea.... but incorporated into the text... so there is some connection between graphic and art.
I will need CMYK or RGB eps files... as well as the illustrator file if done in illustrator.
4 versions of logo.
- small tag version for a picture or movie bug.
- full logo (whatever)
- alternate full logo (maybe horizontal)
- black and white version
