This logo is for a re-brand/re-name of an existing café located in the port town of North Fremantle in Western Australia. In the late 19th century the area was the originally called Bruce Town.
The café is in a 110 year old building and still maintains some of its original features. Our theme is drawn from the history of the building and the area. The design that we are working towards incorporates elements of vintage industrial style with a bit of modern attitude. There are some pictures included that were taken of the area when the building was constructed. The photo with the dog in it has inspired us the most as this is actually a photo of the building as it was in 1905.
North Fremantle is the working port for the city of Perth and the large cranes used to unload the cargo ships are visible from a long distance away, if possible we would like that incorporated into the logo somehow possibly as an outline or sketch. Incorporating other aspects inspired by the local area could also be cool. While this is one of our ideas it is not 100% mandatory so if you have a better idea, please share it.
Please keep the words “Bruce” and “Town” separate. The word “Café” is less important so can be in smaller letters or on another line. The words “Established in 2016” can also be included but are not essential.
Photos are attached of the area, the café, logos that we like some of the general theme. Happy to provide more if required.
Please create something simple, strong and interesting with a vintage feel.
