My business began simply making small batch pickled vegetables, jams, preserved fruit and fermented products. I am building it up into a cafe serving wholesome home cooked meals, salads, coffee etc but also retailing my preserved goods and ferments. It is located in a small town with a broad population, partly elderly retirees but also being only 2 hours from Sydney there is a growing population of young professional families.
My business name 'Pickled Ink' is spelled as 'Ink' because I have a lot of tattoos. I have an interest in traditional style tattoos, so I would be interested in perhaps some inspiration from tattoo artists such as sailor Jerry and Quyen Ding.
