The brand has to look premium, natural and vintage. We only use natural products and we promote local farmers. Our supplements are sold online in brown glass jars with old style labels, to transmit a feeling of authenticity, like apothecary style.
The brand has to convey the following :
- Natural / Healthy
- 1900s Vintage
The challenge is to look vintage (something akin to the typical apothecary of 100 years ago), except with the cutting edge techniques and materials available in the 21st century. It’s paramount to convey a sense of purity. To manage this ambivalence, I think the most difficult part is to choose the right colors and brightness.
I have attached two font styles that can be used sparingly, or serve as an inspiration. Nothing mandatory.
Ideally, I would like the logo the be a crest, with at least 2 parts (left and right), maybe 3 parts or even 4 parts, and each of these parts would be an illustration of the values of the brand – most important being : healthy/natural & American.
For example, the natural aspect would be symbolized by some fruits or veggies, such as broccoli, carrot, raspberries, acai, pomegranate, cranberries, kiwi, garlic…
The American aspect would be symbolized by an American flag (or one part of the American flag).
The authentic aspect would be illustrated by an old oak barrel, or an old wood table, an old farm road…
The healthy aspect would be symbolized by a person (or 2 persons) who radiate(s) serenity… etc
Let me emphasize that I very much like crests and sophisticated drawings as the ones I have attached. I WILL DEFINITELY FAVOUR CRESTS IN MY CHOICE FOR THE WINNER. Besides, I don't like minimalist designs as the "don't like" I have attached.
The slogan is not mandatory, it's optional. If you can't naturally incorporate it into the logo, it doesn't matter. Don't force it.
