Tourism & Retail destination app for a popular Australian tourist destination called the Whitsundays

It should be designed initially on a dark blue background so I can see how it will look on future business card designs etc.

I have a strong initial design idea about the style of the logo (see example for reference) but there is still scope for design flair. One idea I have about the stamp/splash section is it could contain a strong bright orange to replicate a sunset blending down to the purple/pinks of the text. I picture this like a stamp forcibly pressed into bright orange paint splashing splotches of paint. -See an example below for style. -Text can be a similar colour to the main example provided. I want it to fade from vibrant pink to vibrant purple. The example design looks good to me but I'm open to alternate text ideas. Maybe it could also be incorporated to have a splashed appearance if it doesn't look too busy. -An example of the orange can be selected based on best appearance from a similar colour range provided below. -An example of the pinks/purples can be selected based on best appearance from a similar colour range provided below. - The logo should be designed to always look good on a dark BG but it will be beneficial if it stands out imposed on many backgrounds or images. Ultimately I want a fun energetic & stylish logo with great branding potential.
