How Lillian started their logo design journey
Country Club Animal Clinic
Established in Palm Desert, CA in 1996, Country Club Animal Clinic offershighly personalized veterinary services to dog and cat owners. We take what we do very seriously - we provide medical care for cherished companions who cannot speak on their own behalf. While this is an often solemn undertaking and occasionally profound, it also involves a fair amount of humor. We strive to make every visit a good experience for both the patient and the client.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our clients are typically educated, fairly affluent, and about half are retired. We are surrounded by country clubs, and many residents are ardent golfers and tennis players. All are, of course, pet owners. The majority come to us through word of mouth/ recommendation from a friend or neighbor. Because this is a growing retirement destination there is a continual influx of new residents.
We really care, and we want it to show. The ideal logo would convey a sense of lighthearted veterinary professionalism, with region-specific impact. Common regional icons include palm trees, golf symbols, and the mountains visible on three sides of the clinic. No cactus, please. I'd like to avoid cliches like heart-shaped paw prints, but I like the instant impact such things carry. I plan to use this new icon on letterhead, new website header, outside signage and perhaps uniform shirts for staff. Must be vector format.
