The goal of Partyology is simple: to help users discover, plan, collect, and share inspired parties. Imagine it’s primarily a collection of images where you can get ideas for different types of parties, sort/filter by various categories, and click each image to learn more information about the items shown and purchase the things you see or similar items. Target audience: Women age 25-70, with a sweet spot of women age 35-39. These women are in a phase of life where they are planning parties regularly for themselves, their friends, their children, and their parents. They are busy professionals and stay-at-home women, many of them moms, and responsible for family event planning as well as socially motivated parties for friends and colleagues. Site should primarily appeal to women, but we want it to not be too girly-girl as it should be sophisticated and upscale. It may also appeal to men.
Logo types to explore
Desired look/feel: Airy, fairly minimalistic, modern, sophisticated, upscale, elevated, whimsical, appeals to a wide range of ages, female-oriented but not too girly girl or juvenile, makes you smile. Emotions to convey: FUN UPLIFTING INTRIGUING ENJOYABLE CELEBRATORY EFFORTLESS / STRESS-FREE CHARMING INNOVATIVE EXCITING SMART VOYEURISTIC Example logos: In the logos that are attached, we like the way those on the right side have incorporated an emblem within or next to their brand name specifically Drybar, Soulcycle, Pinkberry. All are clean, bold, contemporary, modern, fun. Ideas: Ideas to consider potentially incorporating into logo or site in classy way: - Champagne popping / bubbles / champagne glass - Fireworks - Candles - Balloon (P in a balloon?) - Confetti Long & Short version: In addition to full Partyology logo, should also build favicon (down the road for use on mobile app, Facebook/Twitter profile, etc) -- (note: favicon is a small emblem like what you see in each tab of your browser or the icon for mobile apps or small icon for a twitter or facebook profile, etc.)
