He was the only designer at the contest who went another way. The same ideas came from everyone else. That's why he won at the end!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a newly started wholesale business exporting spanish food delicacies such as cured pata negra ham, olive oil, cheese, etc... to supermarkets, catering firms, hotels and restaurants. Our client is typically the supermarket head of procurement, food & beverage manager or kitchen managers. We want our brand to be able to flex in competing in the premium and middle segment in the market, but first impression should definately be premium.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Even if our company is based in Spain, we profile and market ourselves against Northern Europe. We want to be perceived as traditional with a particular attention to quality - that is why we say in the tagline that we [carefully] select products for our clients - but leaving a memorable brand impression playing with the brand name "El Gordo" that means "The Fat or Chubby One", implying that the food we select is delicious. We are well aware of the fact that obesity is a debated subject in northern europe, but our client base is reduced (B2B) and we want to have a brave and memorable brand name.
