Updated logo needed for Berkshire Pet Pals, LLC!

We are a professional full-service pet care company serving southern Berkshire County, Massachusetts. We provide pet sitting, dog walking, daycare and private boarding services in our home and yours. We also teach Pet Tech first-aid and CPR classes/workshops. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured. We are certified professional pet sitters. We also have some free services that we offer to local residents: a FREE pet finder/locator service (for lost/found pets), an emergency pet care fund that helps those who may not be able to afford pet care services during times of disaster/emergencies, etc. Our retail store will be opening online soon, too. Our target audience is all pet owners, pet lovers and pet caretakers. Most of our clients are blue collar and affluent, so we want to keep that audience. Our current logo (a simple line design) is what we have on our vehicles, business cards and website. Because it is recognized locally, we'd like to keep a cat and dog in the updated logo. You can certainly change the color, breed, details, etc. to refresh/update it. We'd like the final logo to be realistic/colorful and detailed. Can't wait to see your ideas! THANKS!

I'd like to explore the following colors: Aquas: Empathy, compassion, clarity and precision. Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury.

Our logo is well-known in our area and we would like to keep it basically the same (with a cat and dog as the focus), but we want to update it so that it is more colorful and visually appealing. We'd be glad to consider adding a rabbit and/or a ferret to the design, since they are our primary clients. We are open to any and all ideas and suggestions! Our current slogan is: "Professional Pet Care Services With A Personal Touch!". This is NOT incorporated into the logo itself and is subject to change/revision. We'd like to emphasize the professional, experienced, educated idea combined with the compassion and personal element. (Just a side note here.) The Pet Sitting/Dog Walking/Private Boarding is our "service line", since it highlights our top services. We could omit it, if it would be better without it. The text in our current logo is Freehand 575 BT and again, that could be changed, too. We would like it to be legible and easy to read. ***If you could find a way to incorporate what we do into the logo in a "realistic" way, we think that would be GREAT! Maybe add a dog leash (a dog holding a leash in its mouth?) or a dog with a ball in its mouth? Maybe a playful cat with a toy? Maybe a dog drinking out of a dog bowl or chewing on a bone/toy? Some kind of "action" or implication of an action... (If that makes sense?!?)*** We are looking forward to your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, etc.! The final design will need to be used on both a light and dark background. A high resolution image will be needed (for both lights and darks) along with EPS, JPG, clear GIF, .ico (for favicon) and B&W images. Must be compatible with Adobe CS4 (older version!). PS I will attach a couple of logos that my friends are using, so that you get an idea of what we LIKE, too. ***We LOVE the realistic-looking pets in the Just Like You Do logo, so something that is more colorful and realistic like that would be AWESOME!***
