I need a unique, striking logo for a pioneering security app

Traxim will begin as a fully customizable reporting web/mobile application for contracted security companies. App can be used to do everything from report tasks completed and issues found, to create insightful reports to present to the client, signing visitors into the building, providing a centralized place for resources (forms, manuals, etc.), storing information on client's employees to help security do their job, etc. Eventually the idea is for the app to grow into a platform that can identify trends and patterns of concern based on data submitted, and alert security so they may investigate.

Traxim's name is a hybrid between the words 'track' and 'maxim,' and translates to 'tracked truth.' A maxim is a concise expression of a general truth or rule of conduct, and often motivates specific actions. I am attaching the logo concepts that I have attempted a few years ago. The 10A and 12A concepts are the two that I gravitated to, but ultimately am unsure of. Not sure that I like the color scheme in those and am open to suggestions. The idea of these concepts is a stand-alone brand mark that 'points' to something (describing what the app does). Generally I feel like the brand mark should be more abstract, and suggest motion (possibly gestural). Abstract is not my strong suit, thus the reason I'm looking to a community. Designers don't have to stick with building/improving on my concepts (in fact I encourage them to branch out into something more unique and creative), but may do so if they feel there is promise there. One major goal I have for this contest is to find a design that effectively communicates what the app is/does. I don't necessarily feel a successful design requires clear communication of the product (spells it out), but I would find that as a definite plus.
