We are rebranding with a new logo. Our current logo (attached as "new logo") feels too casual. We want a logo that represents a company that is established, high-end, strong, on the cutting-edge. A list of words that would describe our values and what we do/provide for our clients would include: freedom, independence, wisdom, liberty, heritage, proactive, integrity, and prosperity. (ie: we like the second logo attached "logo". png file). Additionally, words like safety, protect, defend, advance, and grow describe our investment processes.
We are a small company that offers high-touch service, but big firm results.
We work with individuals and business owners whom are typically over the age of 50 and have over $500,000 in investable assets.
We like working with people who are fun-loving, have a good sense of humor, and enjoy the same passions we share at our office (which include family, travel, music, wine, golf, & healthy living).
We want the ability for our name to be incorporated into the logo, but also an image that can stand on its own to provide maximum flexibility for use.
We want an image that has depth, but not so much detail that it gets lost on marketing materials, and various printing projects.
Definitely NO pictures of people. Think about images that remind you of independence, wealth, power, and other pictures that leave a message or make a statement. The Merrill Lynch "Bull" is so recognizable (but we can't take that idea, obviously). We don't want it to look like any others in the industry. We have been in business 10 years and we want something that we can use for many years to come.
In our own brainstorming we like the image of a lion's head (stylized like the one attached under "lionlogo.png) so we would like to see something along those lines, but we are not "stuck" on a lion.
We are open to other variations on our name. Our last name is Kotys but feel free to play with the rest of our comapany name using phrases like, "Private Wealth Management." Or like "The Kotys Group" with a tagline of "Wisdom in Wealth Management" or "Private WEalth Management" Part of the problem we have noticed with our current logo is that it gets so drawn out do to length that it doesn't always print well and can end up way too small.
As we look to the future there is a strong possibility we will change our name, and therefor we want an image that will translate regardless of the name.
