theMobileArt.com
themobileart.com / themobileart.co.uk
A UK start-up focused on the delivery of enterprise and ISV consulting on iPhone and iPad development. In addition, a number of commercial business apps are in production. We may abbreviate to TMA in some contexts however the brand is The Mobile Art.
Mid-market to larger enterprises looking to develop in-house enterprise iOS applications. ISV looking to develop iOS apps to extend/complement more traditional software/services.
In addition, we may do app development on behalf of smaller organisations.
The brand must exude professionalism. We're looking to engage larger businesses and need a credible persona that conveys our offer, that said we want something edgy and definitely different, nothing boring or predictable.
The logo must be usable in a web page header, as an email footer graphic and on business documentation.
Beyond this initial project, I will have ongoing requirements for iPad icons, images etc..
Do :
Experiment with the initials TMA however the full name should be included also in some form, e.g. theMobileArt.
Experiment with generic, primitive mobile device symbols.
Keep the colour palette minimalistic - Greys, Chromes are a good starting point with maybe Lime Green or something web 2.0 in the mix. Hi-fidelity and uber cool is the order of the day.
Experiment with an iPhone app icon in the logo.
Don't :
Use iPad or IPhone imagery, we may extend the service to Blackberry
Use a rainbow of colours
Use cartoons, stock photos or clipart - it must be unique and protectable
Make it too complicated, elegant simplicity is key
