We were founded as Deep Red Games back in 1998. We changed to DR Studios in 2007. These are some previous logos:
This is our current logo (without the drop shadow):
We are now owned by our publisher, 505 Games. This is their latest logo (not their old orange & grey style, but the new red & black style):
I am keen to bring their colours and theme into our studio and logo. These are their official colours, but I'm willing consider a slightly darker and less saturated red if it better suits the "Deep Red" theme:
Process: C 0%, M 100%, Y 100%, K 0%
RGB: R 227, G 6, B 19
Pantone: 485 C
Process: C 0%, M 0%, Y 0%, K 100%
RGB: R 29, G 29, B 27
Pantone: Black C
We are about to refurbish our office and I’d like to get the new logo done so that we can put it on our windows and glass partitions. Our current logo and ideally our new one would look good with negative space cut-outs for the D and R in the logo:
So that’s the history and reference out the way. As for the new logo, I’m keen to drop the “Studios” part of our company name and for the public brand to be just “DR”. I’m also keen to acknowledge our parent company, hence the “A 505 GAMES STUDIO” tag line. I find this works best in all-caps, but I’m happy to be proven otherwise.
I’ve had a quick go at some logos myself, which I’ve attached to this brief. I used the Conthrax, United Kingdom and Xirod fonts which I quite like but not are not necessarily required. I like how it has the “DR” letters, but is more than just that. It looks quite a lot like the Big Hero 6 logo, which is kinda cool.
I’d now like to finish this professionally, so feel free rework what I’ve provided or ideally come up with something better. Here are some other logos that I’ve considered for reference:

Okay, that’s enough from me. Over to you guys, I’m looking forward to see what you come up with!
