Tea For is a Fair Trade and Organic loose tea company with a vision to make a difference in the community. A total of 10% of net profits will be donated back into the community. The company was founded on the core values of being environmentally sustainable and socially responsible. Tea For is being branded as a lifestyle & community versus just another tea company. Customers of Tea For help give back to the community with every purchase. An interactive website is key! A large portion of brand marketing is through online campaigns and promotions; primarily through social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. One particular Tea For campaign will be one that encourages Tea For consumers to post photos and captions of themselves with their favourite tea and activity using the hashtag "MyTeaFor". The campaign would be called "What's Your Tea For...?" and the consumers can win weekly prizes by participating. For example; "Tea For...Fun OR Tea For ...Two" could be possible captions. These types of promotions and campaigns are designed to engage with customers and begin a dialogue that will continue to grow and lead to sales and a loyalty to the brand. In addition to an online presence, marketing and branding through trade shows, colleges and school events, fairs, festivals, and community events. Tea For's target market consists of two separate demographics. The first is what the current tea market dictates, and the other is a market that exists but, has great untapped potential. According to the Tea Association of Canada, 84% of Canadians drink tea every year with an average of 332 cups per Canadian/year. Tea For is going to introduce itself into the market by targeting what the current market demands; women aged 35+ who are typically married. This is because in Canada, 80% of tea consumers fall into this category. The second market and the goal of the company is to tap the younger generations. The plan is to create a community based around the younger generations; ages 18-35, male and female, and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle with this brand. Tea For will not only be teas but, it will become a lifestyle choice. Tea For is an experience! With an expected increase in consumption of 40% by 2020 in Canada alone, it is evident that tea is a growing trend.
