Anna.donovan got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Tales From Wherever needs a new logo

We are an online magazine site that will publish regular bulletins from various locations (starting with London, New York and Toronto) highlighting interesting, new, unusual things to do or products or services to buy. Bulletins will be lighthearted and written from a first person perspective with a focus on high quality and interesting experiences/products such as the best coffee houses, artisan products and new, fresh designers not hackneyed already well-publicised products/events. Propose to use Spectrum Woo Theme for the web design.
Logo types to explore
Target audience is mid twenties to mid thirties interested not purely in luxury lifestyle for the sake of it but good quality, artisanal original products/experiences (regardless of price). In terms of design, we like a mix of classic and contemporary design elements/fonts and nothing too 'corporate'. We like bold stand alone typography perhaps combined with a simple logo that can be used in isolation if needed. We also like the use of faded typography or the stencil-style font used in the examples below (Le Labo/Ace and Port respectively). Examples of current branding that we love is: Port magazine: http://port-magazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/PORT_02_CoverFINAL-256x324.jpg Le Labo fragrance: http://www.lelabofragrances.com/ and the Ace hotel: http://www.acehotel.com/newyork Long white Cloud (coffee shop in East London) http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p86/weedogpoo/CNV00002small.jpg Labour and Wait: http://labourandwait.co.uk/
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
