Smith-Arch Construction
We are a partnership of succesful contractors taking our services to the next level by joining forces. We do a lot of custom remodeling (basements, bathrooms, kitchens, decks, additions, fire and water restoration) and are starting to branch into the commercial arena as well. We want to set ourselves apart from the "handyman" type of companies and take on the appearance of a professional construction firm that has a large team of skilled professionals. We are very experienced and knowledgeable in our field and it shows in our work and management of our jobs. We focus on our customers and the small and large details of our jobs. The high level of service we provide shows that we listen to what was wanted/needed. When working in someone's house we make it a point to be as clean as possible as to respect their home and living spaces. Our company is a one-stop shop with the capabilities to build a house from the ground up and complete every step in between. Class A advanced building license/bonded/insured. We can handle design/build projects, custom remodeling, insurance restoration, and large commercial jobs.
Currently working in the northern VA area not far from DC, but willing to travel for large jobs.
Our target audience we would like to focus on are the larger residential jobs and commercial arena, possibly getting into some government contracts.
Target audiences have been normal residential customers with remodeling jobs; landlords and property management groups; larger general contractors looking to subcontract out an entire job; commercial work on office buildings, clubhouses, and work areas.
While wanting to be professional, we want to be careful not to come across too fancy or high-end since we still want to take on the normal bathroom remodel at the same time we are doing a total rebuild or large commercial job.
- Professional logo that looks clean and organized
- Logo to be versatile so it can be used on company signs, shirts, website
- Bold, eye-catching colors that don't look cheesy
- Not opposed to having an animal mascot or some other symbol
- Tools CAN be used within the logo, but most I have run across seem unorganized or appear limiting of all the services that are offered.
- Avoid using a symbol of a "house" since we want to be seen as a residential AND commercial. But a structure can be used.
- Be creative, show us something different than the normal "framed house" or "hammer" logo that mediocre construction companies use
- DO NOT be scared by any of these guidelines. If what you have looks good then we may not care if you break some rules
- Need to be in computer rendered format (ie... Photoshop, illustrator, ESP)
