AssistedCare at Home is the parent company. There is also a sub-brand named ElderCare is a subsidiary that will be a separate logo, but not part of this contest. We’ll provide a bit of information for both in this brief for contextual understanding, but we would like to pursue the parent brand first (AssistedCare at Home) for the purposes of this contest. AssistedCare is a family of companies working together to provide an extensive range of in-home health and long-term care services to meet the needs of their clients. They are locally owned and operated, committed to unsurpassed quality in-home care. The services that AssistedCare provides: Skilled Nursing Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Speech Therapy Orthopedic Care Falls Prevention Therapy Skilled Nursing Medication Management Medical Social Work Telehealth Target Audience for AssistedCare: Physicians or nurses/office staff at physician offices (Skews female) Hospital discharge nurses and social workers (Female age 35-55) Assisted Living Facilities Direct consumers of home health services (often family of loved ones who need compassionate and professional care) Note for #1, #2 and #3 above: They are responsible for referring patients to a home health provider that they are confident will keep them out of the hospital and provide high-quality, compassionate care. Eldercare services include: Alzheimer and Dementia Care Respite Care Companionship and Personal Care (cleaning up, bathing, shopping, helping with technology, light cooking) These are private pay clients and usually have higher expectations than Medicaid services Target Audience for ElderCare: Adult children (commonly daughters, but could be other family members) of elder patients who need more care than family can provide. Across both brands, our customers are looking for safety, compassion, and confidence that we can provide exceptional care.
(The following information only pertains to AssistedCare at Home for the purposes of this contest) Here is some helpful branding information that goes pretty deep on what we're communicating via written word and what our design should reflect: Emotionally we want to convey feelings of confidence, safety, trust, exceptional health care, compassion. External/Surface Problem We Solve: They need a trusted partner that can function as an extension of the same quality care they provide, but in their patient’s home. Internal/Emotional Problems We Solve: Uncertain how home health partners can be used as an asset in their patient care Worried about communication related to patient status and changing needs including transitions and med changes Hard to trust a new provider, want to stick with who they know and they’re concerned about the cost of change. A successful outcome for our audience is that AssistedCare is able to provide high-quality home health care for their patients. Their patients will be more independent, and most importantly they stay at home and do not end up returning to the hospital, or making unnecessary doctor visits for challenges better addressed at home.
