Eiladjohnson got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Food & Drink
Simple, practical wellness and nutrition advice for busy moms delivered through a website and one-to-one nutrition/healthy lifestyle counseling. While my programs are holistically focused on wellness (food/diet + exercise + career satisfaction + general belief in *something*/spirituality + social aspects)...I want to make sure the business is perceived as mainstream-- not too "woo woo" (crunchy). My clients are 30-45 year old women, with 1-4 young children. They hire me to help get them back into their skinny jeans, teach them how to eat healthy and cook better for their families, in addition to getting them on track with time management and prioritization-- of themselves. My clients place a high value on looking good, being fashionable, and are well-educated. Want to keep the logo clean, upbeat and hip. (Even if they're not hip, they aspire to be!)
Logo types to explore
A focus group picked this name b/c they liked that the "wellness" portion of the name was captured it the upbeat word "swell". Though I do not have design experience, my initial thought was to have the "well" portion of swell in bold, or in a different font...but you all know best about how a logo should read. I do need to make sure "wellness" aspect is read when you look at the logo, either via the colors, imagery or font. Can't wait to see what you all come up with! I am really excited about this business launch, and want to have a logo that grabs mom's attention and makes them want to learn more.... please note that the logo for "meals in a snap" above is what I am currently using for a food-specific business that was intended to have much more of a retro-feel. I do not want to go retro with this logo-- but I like the colors, so I included it too.
