How Chrystal Keller started their logo design journey
Sweet Peas Floral Designs
My name is Chrystal Keller & I've recently started my own floral design company. I do flowers for weddings & parties. I've been doing this for 12 years now & recently just had a baby girl, so I've chosen to go out on my own. I love what I do- creating beautiful flowers for the special occasions in one's life.
I consider my style to be simple & elegant- not too fussy or busy. I like the "less is more" - clean look in general. I like things modern, but not too funky. I love color as well. I'm hoping to attract classy brides & customers who are hosting high class events. I like to have fun with things. I'm young- 27 so nothing too formal. I want my business & the logo to reflect this.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience is the bridal community- brides/mothers of the bride, event planners/ venues/ caterers. I also want to attract people planning parties & events. My style is more high end- simple & elegants, but fun & modern as well. I'd like to attract customers who appreciate those characteristics in flowers & don't mind paying for that.
I'm new at this, so hopefully this is what you need.
I'm looking for a logo that I can use for my business. I plan to use it on the website we are desigining, as well as business cards. As I mentioned, I like things to simple & elegant, but still fun & contemporary. I am 27, so I'm not looking for something super fancy. I like the idea of incorporating a sweet pea flower in the logo. The flower itself grows on a vine that twists & curls here & there, which you can see if you search it online. I like the idea of a stem of sweet peas in the logo with the vine part curling under like an underline. I am completely open to creative ideas. I'm a firm believer of letting creative professionals do their thing since that's usually when you get the best product. I need the name incorporated, "Sweet Peas Floral Designs"
