Designed our logo promptly, and quickly made our design changes. Gave all information asked for and was very friendly.
- ami designs
Ami Designs gets 5 stars for her incredibly hard work to make the client happy. Although we had some trouble finding the right fonts and alignment, she worked diligently to help me and didn't give up, even if that meant over a hundred revisions. She will work with a client until they get what they need. thank you so much ami designs!

Who are you known as?
FBE PhD Student Society
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The FBE PhD Student Society ensure that graduates across all of the departments within the faculty of business and economics are provided with enriching experiences that will enable them to make meaningful and worthwhile contributions to society.
The society aims to achieve this through 1) seminars - thought leaders, politicians, community leaders, academics and media to discuss events that are relevant and apt. Such events will seek to provide students with opportunities to make connections with people from across the private and public sector). 2) Networking and Socialising - Alongside these topical seminars, an annual conference will provide students with an opportunity to organise and coordinate conferences across the diverse disciplines within our faculty and where appropriate we will deliver a conference in partnership with other universities. Our conference will provide students at all stages in the PhD with an opportunity to build valuable skills and enduring relationships with the community of scholars.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
COMPLEMENTARY but not the same as the colour seen in the University logo which uses the colour codes C:100, M:57, Y:0, K:40
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We would like a clean, sophisticated, welcoming and versatile logo that communicates 'togetherness', 'support' and 'growth'.
Please don't show icons that are too literal e.g. people holding hands or with outstretched arms.... take a look at the Synap logo below... it evokes the feelings of togetherness, support and growth without being too literal...we like that.
The target audience is for PhD students and NOT undergraduate students. Therefore, please take this into consideration i.e. not a 'party' social club.
Please no cliched imagery of mortarboard/graduate caps.
We would like a 2-3 colour logo. Colour is to complement but NOT be exact as the University logo (C:100, M:57, Y:0, K:40).
