Slurb took into account all of the details we gave in the briefing and delivered a final design that was exactly what we were looking for. We would work with Slurb again.
How Niske started their logo design journey
We are an IT company in the web content management space (CMS of many different sizes and flavours). We believe to stand out by approaching our projects with VERY open communication, we focus on the people in a project instead of the technical side and we provide, at all times, a pragmatic view on things.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
As we believe the users of a content management system are an extremely important link in the succes of a CMS project, we target not only IT people (traditional stakeholders of content management projects) but also communication and marketing people. We are broadening our traditionally very technical audience and start getting in touch with this new target audience.
We are a spin-off of an existing company and therefore have a new name and need a new logo. We will keep the tagline of our parent-company which is 'people meet content'.
The company name is inspired by a painting from Mondriaan called Red Tree. Over the years Mondriaan painted a series of trees and one can see his evolution towards abstract painting in which Mondriaan would look for the essence of the tree while finding new shapes and patterns on his way there. This inspires us to search for the essence in our projects and to cut them up in smaller modules and blocks when we work towards a delivery.
We would like our company name to be the logo (therefore a logotype, a word I have learned just now), we are not looking for a separate logo added to our company name.
