I'm Daniel with Melcor Developments and we develop multi-use shopping centres and office buildings that utilize innovative design and good value. With Stonecreek Village, we want to bring the quality of amenities of cities like Calgary or Edmonton to Fort McMurray. Fort McMurray is highly under serviced as it pertains to the retail market so we will be serving that need for the families and extended stay residents in town.
This logo will be for a mixed-use shopping centre that has retail, office and residential (condo units) on site. It will be a major shopping destination for the people of north-west Fort McMurray and will also be a central location in the neighbor of Stonecreek.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Stonecreek Village will be for younger families and for professionals working in the resource extraction industry. It's located in the beautiful city of Fort McMurray, which has quite an outdoorsy feel to it, but we also want to give the residents of north-west Fort McMurray a centre with the amenities of a city like Calgary or Edmonton. The logo will be used on shopping centre pylon signage and on masonry entrance features.
The logo must incorporate the name "STONECREEK VILLAGE".
The logo must also incorporate in some form the "s" from the existing Stonecreek logo, but the logo must not necessarily be designed around the "s" either. The logo will be used for shopping centre pylon signs and (a) stone monument (a). I've also attached a file that has an existing monument in the neighborhood of Stonecreek that gives you a sense of the feel we'll be pushing for, but again I encourage you not to just cut and paste the existing design. Please follow the feel of it, but add value to the logo.
