We develop and sell very small imaging probes, primarily for the medical imaging market. Our primary product is so small that it is encased within a needle: an 'imaging needle' that can see where it is going. The imaging probe uses light to take very high resolution images of tissue. These are used by doctors to help diagnose disease.
However, I want to avoid having a needle in the design, because people usually don't like needles (they hurt).
Also, in the future we will expand our product range to small imaging probes that are not within needles (hence the company name - Miniprobes - doesn't include the word needle).
We sell to medical device manufacturers, and to research and development labs. We also sell some products into non-medical markets.
Our young company needs a simple, sophisticated logo to help us talk to some of the world's largest medical device manufacturers.
When people think of our company, I want them to think
'tiny imaging probes to see things'.
I'm hoping the logo can communicate that.
