Really great work, fast and helpful designer.
Extremely professional at all times and great at dealing with people. Xalion guided me through areas where I was unfamiliar with patience and skill. Xalion responded in a timely way and went out of his way to make a really great design. Xalion's artistry and creative ideas are top-notch.

How Speech IRL started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Speech IRL is a private speech therapy practice specializing in adult therapy. Speech IRL provides licensed speech therapy "in real life". The focus on functional, real-world speech training is central to Speech IRL. "Real life therapy" means therapy sessions take place in actual workplace or social settings vs. the traditional speech therapy clinic, in order to help patients achieve functional communication goals.
Patients are professional adults (18-65) with communication disorders: stuttering, articulation (e.g. lisp), voice, stroke recovery, brain injury, plus accent reduction for non-native English speakers.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We have an idea of a stick figure incorporated into the logo, half of the figure in "work mode" (hat, briefcase, etc) and half in "social mode" (drink in hand?, baseball cap). This symbolizes that this is both professional speech therapy for work life, and personal speech therapy for your social/everyday life.
We're still working on a slogan for the company, but it will be something like "Speech IRL: Immersive speech therapy for real life."
This is a niche market. Most speech therapy clinics serve children or geriatrics. The ideal client is a 30-something professional, so we would like the feel to be clean, modern, and mature but not overly serious/heavy. A working philosophy we have is "Work. Play. Speak." We would like to capture the balance of communication in both the personal and professional spheres.
