We promote Southern Pine lumber in the USA and Globally. View www.sfpa.org for our 6 websites. This Southern Pine logo will be used Globally, but we want flexibility to remove the URL and also use it domestically. Southern Pine is grown in Southeast USA and consists of 4 species: Longleaf (Pinus palustris), Slash (Pinus elliottii), Shortleaf (Pinus enchinata), Loblolly (Pinus taeda). Southern Pine has a distinctive color and grain, its sapwood ranging from white to yellowish and heartwood from yellow to reddish-brown. It is known for its strength, sustainability, looks, and ease of treatment. Most Southern Pine is used structurally, for floor and roof trusses, joists, rafters and carcassing. Ease of treatment makes it particularly good for decking and outdoor use. Character and impact resistance make it suitable for flooring, paneling and joinery. We will use the logo on our websites, in publications and presentations, therefore we will need vectorized logo design in PDF, AI and JPG formats.
Our current logos can be found on our websites, all which can be found on the landing page www.sfpa.org. I also attach the current Attached is our primary Association logo, Southern Forest Products Association AND our current Southern Pine Council logo that we will replace with this new logo design. We do not want COUNCIL in the logo and are looking for fresh ideas on how to represent Southern Pine in the new logo.
