Business name is My Son, Joy Day light dining, breakfast, brunch & lunch. Internal colour scheme is white, brick, black, shades of wood and indoor plants. Clean lines, minimal with contemporary design Wholeness food, local, seasonal produce, design and a plate without the attitude. Juice made to order straight from the kitchen. Other beverages include of course coffee, tea, wine, a cheeky cocktail or beer. Service; Warm, welcoming, friendly, attentive My Son; family, close connection, substance. Joy; colour-orange, bright, happiness, enjoyment. More back history of My Son, Joy; It’s a play on our names, Neale’s father calls him my son and my names means Joyful so cut it short to joy. Also wanted a short sharp, easy to spell, memorable name. A broad target audience, age wise. Locals are very important. As is making people want to travel to us for our food, service and overall feel. A part of our concept is to help others eat better for their body and wellbeing without knowing. Flavour, ingredients, service and surroundings also part of the key.
