TJBoston needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 282 designs submitted by 76 freelance designers.
This ten-year old boutique software company is seeking a design makeover. We need a logo that will convey our company’s can-do attitude and independent spirit while at the same time setting us apart in the world of IT by capturing the hi-tech professionalism of our consultants.
AxioTek
We are a niche software shop located in a very competitive market, Boston. For the past decade we have survived by providing quality IT consulting services, advertising mostly by word-of-mouth and growing slowly. Our original logo was designed by a friend of the owner a decade ago and has seen little use.
However, the time has come for AxioTek to establish a solid branding presence both in print and on the web that will allow us to enter the next stage of our company’s growth. Most of our clients are social service non-profits; however we have several large clients in the profit sector.
We have a team of highly skilled, professional consultants who take very good care of our client base. The logo should try and capture our creativity in software design, responsiveness to our clients and strategic expertise in crafting organization-wide solutions.
We are open and eager to see what ideas emerge. We do think that the winning design will be simple and sophisticated, incorporate the name as well as a graphic, and be memorable and probably be no more than 2 colors.
The logo as mentioned should communicate hi-tech and be modern without being unreadable and a distraction.
upper and/or lower case ok. previous logo used all lower case and that was probably the part we liked the best about it.
we will most likely be looking for some print work and web design from the winner of the contest also.
logo should use the tagline:
"software solutions, simplified"
tagline subject to change, but let's work with that for now.
too many colors
too obviously computer related, like uses of computer images
