PSCI (It stands for "Performance, Strategy, Change, Improvement")
PSCI helps hospitals analyze PERFORMANCE, identify an improvement STRATEGY, stimulate CHANGE, and monitor IMPROVEMENT across DRGs (diagnosis related groups), with process- and outcome-centric intelligence, predictability and transparency in COST OF CARE and QUALITY OF CARE. PSCIs closed-loop decision support solutions break down silos across hospital systems to deliver actionable intelligence and what-if predictive modeling for improving overall hospital financial performance.
That's technical-speak for "we analyze variance and the impact to performance." This means performance in terms of Cost of Care, and in terms of Quality of Care.
Design a logo that screams:
transformation
complexity
closed-loop
decisions
hospitals
How you're going to do it, I don't know. When you do, you'll be our hero!
We are a modern, polished, professional company. Our goal is to introduce unique, creative solutions to create a paradigm shift in the way hospitals analyze their performance. In that sense, we want to be agents of change. Our area of expertise is of major concern to hospitals, especially in light of recent US healthcare reform and legislation.
Our website will be located at http://www.pscisolutions.com, and the outcome of this project will drive website design and our corporate visual standards. The logo will be used in our online software product, all corporate collateral, and corporate website.
File samples: the pdf is where we "are" in terms of corporate identity (NONE!, ick!) ... the jpg is a really cool image we found online ... we like the "fresh" colors, the way the image appears to go from multi-dimensional to "flat" ... don't know that there's a way to incorporate "hospital," "healthcare" and/or "analytics" in a similar fashion, but if you can, WOW!
We sell software and consulting. We don't have any competitors, but if we did, some of them would be software companies, others would be "big 6" consulting companies like BoozAllen, IBM, Accenture, etc.
You can choose to incorporate the four elements or not in the logo (Performance, Strategies, Change, Improvement).
Some of the feelings we would like to convey are:
* Hospital-specific (we have no customers other than hospitals)
* Trusted adviser without being too "stuffy"
* Calm, methodical (since health care reform is a highly-charged topic)
* Attack Process Variance to fix quality and cost issues
* Don't want to appear *too* high-tech; our audience is not technically sophisticated
* Our audience is "C-Level" hospital executives, mostly men aged 45-65, many are doctors/surgeons
We're not entirely stuffy ... we are open to creativity.
We consider black, white and all shades of gray "colors" ... feel free to color way outside the lines ... just NOT in pinks and feminine colors.
At the close of this project, we will launch another that will be for our website design.
Final artwork requirements:
* Vector artwork, EPS for PC
+ Original in color for use on white/light background
+ Variation to use on black/dark background
+ All-white (or outline) variation to use on printed products (pens, etc.)
