To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Social Motion Skills is a unique education organization whose focus is teaching social
skills to young people with special learning needs. These kids can range from ADHD to
Autistic and many different special needs around the spectrum. Social Motion Skills
teaches the mental and physical movement, or motions, required to integrate into
today’s complex society.
Social Motion Skills has a current logo (attached as file) and is seeking to upgrade it to
a more powerful brand. When someone encounters our logo we want them to see a
professional, yet fun organization that appeals to a young audience but does have not a
juvenile feel. We want them to feel confident they are dealing with top professionals
while being excited about the possibilities and hope for the future.
Social Motion Skills currently uses a “rocket” in our logo and would like to continue to do
so, but have a bolder, simpler, stronger rocket or rocket symbol to carry the brand. We
chose a rocket because we want our kids to learn and grow and move on. The rocket
symbolizes this blast off/ take off idea. We incorporate rocket theme's into our marketing
(blast off, take off, launch, flight plan, journey, voyage, my world / other's world , future,
new horizons, etc.)
We prefer primary colors because they are bright, clear and energetic. We don't want to
look like a staid accounting / therapy firm. We would like to use the following approximate colors:
Should your concept use fewer of these colors or you strongly recommend something
else, feel free to do so but know we would like these colors in the logo unless we are
convinced otherwise for the sake of achieving our mission listed above.
We are seeking a bold, colorful and national look to our current brand. We would like to
see a simpler, cleaner look than we currently utilize. We are totally open to type style
and design concepts as long as they incorporate some piece of a rocket and the words
Social Motion Skills. The mark does not have to be integrated into our type/name as it
currently is. It may stand alone with the words.
