How skippy started their logo design journey
This one is pretty much a slam dunk, as I only want something simple... I am not looking for any outrageous colors or design concepts. I am looking for subtle, with a hint of classy.

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
This is for a company logo, it is for an furniture/ Design company. The products are high end. This logo must be visable form a distance if it is expanded and put on delivery trucks. The logo will be as small as a business card.
- I want a logo that is a square that has an "antiqued" compass's arrows laid out accross the center of it. The compass needs to present itself as 3 dimensional via 2 toning in colors. I am thinking navy blue and a steel gray blue for the compass. This compass will be key With the compass laid out a grid will be created in the square it is laid over. Upper left, upper right, lower left, and lower right. In the upper left I want a capitol "N" in block lettering, and in the bottom right, a capitol "W" in block lettering. In the upper right I want italic script "design' with maybe a star as the dot over the "I" in design. This could be a cursive script possibly if it looks classy and not overdone. The word Home goes into the bottom left quadrant and it matches the font of "Design" in the upper right. I am thinking for color that the framing square as well as all fonts are in a Mossy green, but possibly two tone green to create depth. Whatever looks best!
I do not want something that in the end looks busy... too many colors, to many lines. I want this logo identifiable, not confusing. I think the winner will be the one that blends the colors I am looking for well together, and keeps it pretty simple. Yet again, a little pizzaz never hurt anyone!!
