About us
Trajectories of Black Mathematics Teachers is a university study. The study's goal is to encourage more African American educators to choose teaching math as a career. The result of this study will be an interactive website and a documentary film. The primary audience is those in the academic field (educators, professors, researchers) and African Americans. The design of the website will be informed by the logo design. A future film/documentary cover image may also feature the logo. So we're looking for something sophisticated and flexible.

We suggest using the Equals (=) sign as a feature in the logo. It's both a math symbol and a social justice symbol (equality). Another graphic option would be a pathway or a road to symbolize "Trajectories." We have a slogan: "Past. Present. Future." Including this is not required. We'd like to see designs with the slogan and without it.
