We'd like the logo to convey ideas like: trust, simple sophistication, elegance, hi-tech, competence, completeness, vision, foresight, understanding and control.
"Scry" means "to prognosticate or see the future, as with a crystal ball", and "tec" is of course short for technology. In other words, we are looking to build products that mimic human intuition in software on a large scale.
We'd like to convey the intersection between "magic" and technology without being blunt (no magic wands, hats or rabbits please!). We'd like this logo to look at home among traditional tech vendors such as Oracle, SAP etc, but not too stuffy.
Much of our software relies on linking pieces of information together (a line between two nodes, links in a chain, graphs with nodes/edges) etc --- perhaps something cool could be done with these concepts. See attached files for example graphs.
Lastly, it would be nice if the logo had a graphical element that might be used as an icon, or some direct relationship between the logo and icon such that the icon might be recognizable. See attachments.
